A little bit about us

This is the doghouse that Thayer built - (with a little help from family and friends!) It has heat and air conditioning and hot and cold water. Puppies are born and raised in the main house and all the dogs live with us there a good part of the time. The doghouse is a comfortable alternative home for them. Thayer installed a raised bathtub to make grooming easy and there is a telephone that always manages to ring as soon as dog gets all shampooed up!

Thayer is looking forward to retiring in the not too distant future. Travel and golf are in his plans. Of course he is always looking for an excuse to go flying. He is was hoping to put an obedience title on a Cavalier having done so with a standard poodle several years ago. However he decided he wanted a dog of his own and he just got Rudy, Pembroke Welsh Corgi to work with in obedience! Mary Ellen stays busy with the dogs and puppies, publishing activities and making plans for Thayer's retirement!

We are members of the CKCSC, USA, Inc, Cavaliers of the South, the Central Carolina Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club and the English Cavalier Club. Also, Thayer is treasurer of the Charleston Kennel Club and Mary Ellen is the newsletter editor and she developed and maintains this club's website. We are also founding members of the very new Palmetto Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club. Mary Ellen is the club's treasurer and webmistress.

Since we enjoy showing our Cavaliers in different parts of the country we decided to include an AKC Point Schedule for Cavaliers on our website for easy reference.
