Thayer's hobby these days (when not chasing defenseless golf balls around a fairway with a big stick) is what he calls "punching holes in the sky" in our Piper Lance II. Thayer is an IFR pilot who has recently attained his commercial pilot's license. However he can't seem to get the dogs to pay him for trips to the shows yet! They do seem to enjoy flying, and some are accumulating frequent flyer miles!
